Hillside Public Schools District Wide Student Achievement Goals
- Increase the number of students meeting or exceeding grade level expectations on New Jersey Student Learning Assessment in English Language Arts Literacy from 40.8% to 48.8% by June of 2021.
- Increase the number of students meeting or exceeding grade level expectations on New Jersey Student Learning Assessment in Mathematics from 24.4% to 33.7% by June of 2021.
- Increase the Student Growth Percentile in ELA, Grades 4-8 from 46.5% to 50%, and in Math, Grades 4-7-from 45% to 50% in alignment with the state average by May of 2021
- Increase the High School Graduation Rate from 85% in 2019 to 90% by August of 2021.
- Increase the percentage of students enrolled in AP/IB and/or dual enrollment courses from 14.8% to 20% by September of 2021.

Hillside Public Schools District Wide Organizational Goals
- To launch a district wide STEM related magnet school beginning in 7th grade during the 21-22 SY.
- To maintain over 90% average daily attendance in a virtual and “in-person” educational model.
- To host a minimum of 2 monthly building based virtual or “in person” parent academies to ensure families can support and leverage resources available for remote and “in person” instruction
- To raise $20,000 for the Hillside Public Schools Foundation to support district initiatives
- Rectify prevalent facility challenges in aging buildings (windows, bathrooms, floor tiles, interior doors, playground cover).
