Congratulations to the twenty-one Hillside High School seniors who have earned the New Jersey State Seal of Biliteracy! The award recognizes student proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English and highlights their linguistic and cultural diversity.
“This is a significant accomplishment for these young scholars, as it sets them apart from other students across the state of New Jersey,” said Erskine R. Glover, Superintendent of Schools. “Not only is it a great award to put on their resumes and college applications, but it also speaks to their status as multilingual members of our society who can use their voices to advocate for the diverse members of their community.”
