Congratulations to Hillside Innovation Scholar Daniel A. for being accepted into West Point Academy's MS Summer STEM Program. Daniel was chosen from among hundreds of applicants to participate in the 2024 West Point MS STEM Summer Workshop as a result of his hard work and performance in math and science.
This MS STEM Workshop is especially designed for students entering 7th and 8th grades who demonstrate strong interest and skills in science, technology, engineering and math. You will be working with USMA faculty from Physics, Behavioral Sciences, Math, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and more. You will also be learning leadership skills from cadets West Point feels that the sooner young people are introduced to these areas, the better they can prepare for future STEM pathways including admission to West Point and other tier one colleges and universities.
Daniel is also among the 7th grade scholars enrolled in our Edmentum Algebra I course. He is also a participant in our Bridging Brilliance Program: Strengthening Pathways from Hoboken to Hillside, our new partnership with Stevens Institute of Technology.
Ironically, Daniel's older brother will be attending West Point Academy in the fall as a full-time student.
We wish them both much success and a huge shout out to their family on their scholar's exceptional accomplishments!
