Dear Parents/Guardians,
The students will be participating in a reading program called Hillside 2023-2024 Book Challenge. This program is designed to help increase recreational reading. To accomplish this goal, we encourage children to read each night and enjoy what they read. This program will begin September 18, 2023, and will run for the school year.
Children will read books of their choice. You or their teacher may help them pick books they are comfortable reading. The important thing is that your child has fun! Research shows that the more a child reads the more successful he or she will be in school. Click here to read full letter.
