Hillside Public Schools

On May 17th, 2023, Ola Edwards Community School (OECS) held an event to celebrate the Dig In! Grant they received alongside other Hillside Public Schools from the Union County Commissioner's Office! Ola Edwards students were led outside to the new garden space by teachers, Ms. Jennifer Czerwienski, and Ms. Emily Vidal, as well as OECS Principal Kimley Davis, and Vice Principal Azure Diggs. The administrators and students had an incredibly fun time planting cucumbers, onions, and more while being guided by Ms. Jackie Park-Albaum, Director of Urban Agriculture and Environmental Justice, of Groundwork Elizabeth!
