Hillside Public Schools

Last Monday, May 1st, 2023, Hillside High School hosted the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the reveal of their Outdoor Classroom! The new outdoor learning space was made possible through a $10,000 grant from the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) and Non-profit organization Sustainable Jersey! At the ceremony, Hillside High School Garden Club Members led Hurden Looker students through various sustainability and mindfulness-themed activities! Thank you to Science Department Supervisor, Lisa Corona, Teacher Melissa Ambrose, Paul Skelton, John Hutchson, Karen Love, the Garden Club, David DeFluri and the Building and Grounds Department, Superintendent Glover, Principal Sidwa, Evelyn Okparaeke, and Angela Lawler!
