Hillside Public Schools

Earlier today, December 20th, 2023, Hillside Public Schools Superintendent Glover, @keanuniversity President Gray, and Hillside Mayor Vertreese met at Hillside Town Hall. Hillside has collaborated with Kean University to launch a community literacy program designed to foster the love of reading, and support literacy throughout the town! "Book hubs will be located at the Hillside town hall, community recreation center, M&M Pizzeria, and the First Baptist Church. When families visit these locations, they will have the opportunity to read a book and then scan a QR code to answer questions about the book. Submission of the questionnaires will reward families with prizes and discounts to local businesses in our community! Kean University was generous enough to supply all the supplies, books, and materials for this program. Today was the official book hub delivery date! Thank you, President Gray, Superintendent Glover, the Hillside Board of Education, Mayor Vertreese, Mr. Anthony Salters, Ms. Victoria Gray, and the entire Hillside community for promoting the importance of reading and fostering the success of our children.
