Construction of Hillside Public Schools District’s Deanna G. Taylor Academy Modular Addition has been completed! On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the New Wing's official grand opening/ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Deanna G. Taylor Academy! Hillside Public Schools Board of Education members, administrators, principals, partners, staff, Hillside township dignitaries, and family members of Deanna G. Taylor were all in attendance for the marvelous event! A special thank you to Superintendent Glover, Hillside Board of Education President Best, Assemblyman Mr. Atkins, Principal of Deanna G. Taylor Academy Mr. Graham, Vice-Principal Budhu, the Office of the Superintendent, the Building and Grounds Department, the Technology Department, and Maschios Food Services!
The 6,600-square-foot addition to Deanna G. Taylor Academy will enhance learning opportunities for scholars by adding four new classrooms, a new cafeteria, and a multi-purpose visual and performing arts room!
