A.P. Morris Early Childhood Center hosted a Community Toiletry drive throughout December, which concluded on December 14th, 2023! Various toiletries including toothpaste, lotion, deodorant, and body soap were donated and collected. The 3rd annual Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) Mixer was in the Hillside High School media center last night, December 13th, 2023! Santa Claus came to town! Milk & Cookies with Santa 2023 is in the books, and it was spectacular! The Hillside High School gymnasium was filled to near capacity on the night of December 13th, 2023, as Hillside families, students, and children were greeted by Santa Claus himself! 8th Grade Students from W.O.K. Middle School recently attended "Students2Science 's Isaac lab"! On December 8th, 2023, Mrs. Ebong and 20 juniors and seniors attended The Newark College of Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology's (NJIT) annual NCE Engineering Career Day! The Engineering Career Day programs are designed to allow high school students to explore engineering and consider engineering as a career path. Students met current engineering students and faculty and were presented with systems, devices, robots, and vehicles. Ola Edwards Community School hosted its Winter White Gala on December 8th, 2023, with 177 students accompanied by their parents!
