Technology Vision Statement:


Hillside Public Schools is committed to the effective use of technology to support student achievement. The Technology Department supports an environment in which students have equitable access to information, tools, and applications to engage in meaningful learning. The Technology Department supports all aspects of information technology, including Internet connectivity, wireless networking, various databases, and servers, the phone system, and the software and devices used every day.

Student/Parent Request for Technology Assistance

 

Parents, please note the following so that the district can provide timely and targeted support:
  • If your child is having issues with their Chromebook, please either contact their school to schedule a time to replace it or complete the Chromebook Request Form in your Parent Portal account.  
  • If you have never received a Chromebook from the district and you would like to request one, please complete the Chromebook Request Form in your Parent Portal account.
  • If you need a hotspot for wifi at home, please contact your child's school.
  • If you need assistance setting up your Parent Portal account, please either contact the school directly or email genesismail@hillsidek12.net
  • If you need assistance with Canvas passwords, please contact your child's school or teacher.
  • For assistance with Google passwords, please email genesismail@hillsidek12.net.
